Job Title: Manager, Corporate Strategy Analysis

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid (3 days in-office)

Position Overview

In this role, you'll contribute to corporate strategy, analyze market trends, evaluate new opportunities, and collaborate across departments to deliver key initiatives. You'll also have the opportunity to grow and rotate into other strategy and analytics-focused teams to expand your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and long-term success.
  • Identify and evaluate new products, marketing strategies, and partnerships.
  • Translate market trends and consumer behaviors into actionable strategies.

Execution & Delivery

  • Own and manage the execution of strategic business cases and initiatives.
  • Build business requirements and oversee project delivery across cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and sequence the implementation of multiple programs concurrently.

Team Leadership

  • Coach and mentor analysts across the organization.
  • Develop and retain top talent; may eventually lead a dedicated team of analysts.

Collaboration & Partnership

  • Work with stakeholders across Technology, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and more.
  • Align strategic initiatives with corporate goals and ensure executional excellence.

Analytical Decision-Making

  • Use data to solve complex problems and drive informed decision-making.
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative methods to support business cases and strategy.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to guide organizational direction.

Communication & Influence

  • Present ideas and strategies effectively to executive stakeholders.
  • Use strong written and verbal communication skills to influence decisions and drive alignment.
  • Build consensus through interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in quantitative analysis or financial modeling.
  • 3+ years of experience in qualitative analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience in market or competitive analysis.
  • 1+ year of experience in people management.
  • 1+ year of experience in project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate strategy within a dynamic, fast-paced industry.
  • Background in credit products or consumer finance a plus.
  • Previous consulting experience is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and deliver results in ambiguous environments.
