Company Overview:

An international company specializing in automated food processing equipment is seeking a motivated Account Manager to promote and sell high-quality food processing machines. This role involves engaging with Japanese and Asian restaurants, grocery stores, hotel/resort cafeterias, catering companies, and food service businesses, helping them find the right solutions to optimize their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends and customer needs in the food service industry, with a focus on businesses specializing in Asian cuisine.
  • Identify and approach potential customers to introduce and sell food processing machinery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring continued satisfaction and account growth.
  • Create quotes, process orders, and issue invoices efficiently.
  • Provide customer support, including handling inquiries, addressing concerns, and troubleshooting basic equipment issues (training provided).
  • Gather customer feedback and suggest improvements for products and services.
  • Collaborate with logistics and service teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation of machinery.
  • Assist in launching new services and enhancements tailored to customer needs.
  • Take a proactive approach in understanding customer requirements and providing suitable solutions.
  • Perform other assigned tasks related to sales and client relations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages such as Chinese, Japanese, or Korean is an asset.
  • 2-3 years of B2B sales and account management experience.
  • Strong interest in the food or restaurant industry.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursement provided according to company policy.
  • Basic PC skills (email, Excel, order forms).
  • Perform tasks requiring intermittent sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 20kg, along with close and distance vision and hearing capabilities.
  • Sufficient space to store several demo machines for customer presentations.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a home office setting.
