We are seeking an experienced and driven Intermediate Estimator to join our pre-construction team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in estimating Water and Wastewater infrastructure projects, particularly lump sum contracts. You'll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, working closely with concrete, mechanical, and electrical trades, and ensuring the successful financial planning of bids and projects.

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for Water and Wastewater treatment plant projects (primarily lump sum).

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

• Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier quotes for concrete, mechanical, and electrical scopes.

• Conduct risk analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and tender closings.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and trade partners to validate quantities and scope.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions and trade pricing.

• Contribute to successful bid strategies and project handover processes.

• 5–15 years of estimating experience, specifically within Water/Wastewater infrastructure projects.

• Proven experience with lump sum projects and a strong understanding of project success metrics.

• Solid knowledge of concrete, mechanical, and electrical trade scopes and their integration in treatment plant projects.

• Proficiency in estimating software (such as HeavyBid, WinEst, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
