Full Job Description
Amaco Construction Equipment is seeking a Parts & Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time position supports both shipping/receiving operations and the Parts & Service Department. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a hands-on environment with a focus on accuracy and customer support.
Location: Amaco Construction Equipment – 5804 Datsun Rd, Mississauga, ON
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Shipping & Receiving: Manage incoming and outgoing shipments; inspect, store, and organize materials in the warehouse.
- Parts Order Entry: Assist with quoting and entering customer parts orders accurately into internal systems.
- Returns & Customs: Handle parts returns, including documentation and coordination with suppliers and customs requirements.
- Parts Pick-Up & Delivery: Deliver parts locally within the GTA and pick up from suppliers as needed.
- Equipment Handling & Yard Optimization: Support equipment receiving, movement, and organization of the yard for efficiency and safety.
- Warehouse Optimization: Maintain a clean, organized, and functional warehouse environment; participate in inventory counts and layout improvements.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Valid G-Class Driver's License (DZ is a plus)
- Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs
- 1–2 years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory systems is a plus
- Must own CSA-approved safety boots (annual allowance provided)
- Has a valid Forklift Certification (or willing to be trained)
