Job Description

Our client, an wealth management advisory located in North York is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive a Licenced Sales Assistant to join their team. This role provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to their Senior Wealth Advisor playing a key part in ensuring a smooth and efficient administrative assistance and client experience. The successful candidate will support day-to-day activities, client communication, transaction processing, and general administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Communication

  • Respond to client inquiries by phone and email
  • Handle client correspondence and maintain professional client relations
  • Transaction Processing
  • Assist with processing and confirming client transactions
  • Execute trade orders under direction and follow up on account transfers and documentation

Administrative Support

  • Maintain account lists and client files
  • Compile reports and statistical data as required
  • Prepare documentation for client meetings and reviews

Client Service

  • Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client issues efficiently
  • Marketing & Business Development
  • Support marketing initiatives, client events, and presentations
  • Help identify potential revenue opportunities within the existing client base

General Office Administration

  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Prepare correspondence and maintain office supplies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in finance, business, or a related field is an asset
  • Experience: Prior experience in a financial services or investment advisory environment preferred
  • Certifications: Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is required

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency with MS Office and industry-related platforms
