A well known Developer builder based in Vancouver is seeking an experience Estimator to lead the function within their company. Strong pricing experience on residential highrise, woodframe and mixed use commercial is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and supervise the estimating function within the company and work with the Development and construction team from land acquisition through to construction commencement
• Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and material quantity surveys.
• Analyze project requirements and evaluate risk factors to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and industry professionals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of construction estimating.
• Strong knowledge of objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts.
• Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of class D pricing
• Ability to analyse land acquisitions and pricing for constructability and profit
