Technical Writer – Cybersecurity | 12-Month Contract | Hybrid (GTA Preferred)

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Writer to join a dynamic security incident response team. This is a 1-year contract based out of 888 Birchmount Road, 6th Floor, with flexibility to work from home (2–3 days/week in-office may be required).

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, refine, and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and playbooks related to cybersecurity processes and investigations.
• Translate complex, technical language into clear, concise documentation for both technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to build a practical, accessible knowledge base.
• Support ongoing updates to procedural documentation, participate in incident response meetings, and record meeting minutes.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years in technical writing, with 5+ years using SharePoint, Visio, and JIRA.
• Experience building knowledge bases and creating documentation/playbooks for cybersecurity or IT projects.
• Ability to translate investigative procedures into high-level summaries for audit and management review.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Exposure to Power BI and MS Office Suite.
• Background in law enforcement or writing for legal/security teams.
