Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Financial Operations Specialist to join our sales management department in Toronto. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, mitigating risks, and ensuring smooth operations within our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other payment requests.
• Monitor and control transaction risks.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and support collection efforts.
• Assist with account statements and reconciliations.
• Resolve account-related issues with clients and internal teams.
• Analyze financial results to support month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in accounts payable or accounts receivable functions.
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Jonas, or similar).
• Strong skills in VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data entry.
• Ability to manage numerical data accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills for internal and client interactions
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience providing global tax or financial advice is an asset.
• Experience in e-commerce is an asset.

Preferred

• Knowledge of the pool industry or experience in retail, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese.
