Position Summary:

The Data Analytics & Reporting Manager will play an important role in leading SECA's strategy and operations related to insights and research across business and marketing divisions from ideation through to measurement and reporting. As the subject matter expert, you will champion the insights and research function and ensure key learnings and best practices are democratized across the organization.

This role will require you to work cross functionally with marketing, business, ecommerce, and Samsung Headquarter / Regional teams to understand and develop Samsung's insight and research capabilities and use this knowledge to appropriately implement and evolve the program. Through your expertise in research and analysis, you will be required to not only share key actionable business and marketing insights, but lead the recommendation and ideation of impactful plans in collaboration with key business and marketing team stakeholders.

Leading our agency and research partners, you will deliver this through analyzing multiple sources of data to understand impacts of our marketing initiatives including category, online and retail. You will also be responsible to collect, analyze and report on KPI's, and use primary and secondary analysis to develop insights that will contribute to plans that will lead to improved customer experiences and ROI.

This role will require development of analytical and multi-variate models, strong hands-on experience of triangulating information from multiple sources to drive action oriented insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Integrate diverse customer data sources—including custom, tracking, internal market data, and syndicated research—to generate comprehensive consumer insights.
  • Manage data automation and dashboard requests for internal stakeholders, including Brand Marketing and Leadership teams.
  • Compile consumer, competition, and category data to establish an accessible Insights Hub for team utilization.
  • Provide consumer, category, and brand insights to category Brand leads and contribute to the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) planning process.
  • Collaborate with management to develop frameworks for measuring, reporting, and analyzing marketing campaign results.
  • Work closely with external agencies to track campaign performance through brand lift studies and maintain a repository of insights.
  • Coordinate with the GMC CMI team and North American counterparts to implement best practices in market research.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in analytics tools and research methodologies.
  • Communicate ongoing projects and achievements effectively.
  • Collaborate across divisions (Social, Paid Digital, CRM) to understand reporting requirements.
  • Analyze observed behaviors in relation to market trends using social media listening tools like Sprinklr.
  • Oversee tracking and reporting for digital marketing campaigns, delivering actionable insights from web and digital channels.
  • Create dashboards of key metrics to derive meaningful business inferences.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills to extract insights from data and manage ad-hoc requests.
  • Support cross-functional teams with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and presentations by monitoring and summarizing third-party reports and trends.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in economics, statistics, mathematics, marketing or higher required

Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in Data Analytics, Insights, Planning along with good knowledge of Qualitative and Quantitative research tools
  • Expert knowledge (including report generation) of Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Google Analytics 360, Report Builder, Data Feeds etc.
  • Experience with dashboard and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker) is necessary.

Knowledge:

  • Strong analytical skills: must have a demonstrated track record of excellence in analytics
  • Strong quantitative skills, with an ability to analyze and interpret complex sets of data
  • Experience working collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and chart creation
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint, and experience developing insightful presentations
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to work on multiple projects over the course of a day and accurately set expectations regarding timing and deliverables
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner based on the appropriate balance of data, by asking the right questions, at the right time, to uncover findings and drive relevant action
  • Naturally curious with sharp critical thinking skills
  • Excellent project management skills, a sense of urgency, with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail
