Your new role

  • Overlooking IP networking, displaying your knowledge of technical concepts of LAN/WAN management and ability to problem solve and manage third party providers.
  • Understanding of support concepts (patching, policy) to provide deskside support, as well as working with third parties to provide support.
  • Displaying proficiency in Security and Firewall topics, and understanding topics such as network cabling, WIFI implementation, use of scanning technologies.
  • Ensuring the quality, scalability, and performance of products through monitoring, testing, and implementing security measures.
  • Working with customers to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Regionally manage implementation of larger global projects which typically include other BASF teams as well as third party contributors.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in IT Technology, IT engineering, Computer Science or related fields, or commensurate professional experience.
  • 5+ years experience managing site infrastructure, preferably in a manufacturing environment and/or facilities with lab environments
  • Project experience, as well as experience working with digital teams
  • Proficiency in IP Networking (LAN/WAN management), network cabling, WiFi implementation, security/firewall topics and scanning technologies, and support concepts (patching, policy).
  • Experience working with customers, experience with third-party resources will be highly valued
  • Experience working in agricultural production sites will be a plus
