Site Superintendent - Special Projects

This role is for an experienced Site Superintendent to join an accomplished General Contractor. You will focus on Special Projects that typically have challenging locations and are often in the public view. The Client will consider people from any construction background as long as they have shown an aptitude for following systems and processes.

Typical Projects

• Transit, Airport and Port projects: Improvements and retrofits
• Heritage restorations
• Small demolitions
• Commercial new builds under $25M
• Locations are throughout the Lower Mainland

Key Duties

• Lead the project through solid trade coordination and schedule management
• Focus on providing a safe jobsite as Special Projects typically involve public areas where great signage and access control is a requirement.
• Balance the needs of the projects with keeping the Clients (and public) happy and safe.

Requirements

• Experience in Special Projects, Commercial or Industrial (Tilt) Construction or challenging Tenant Improvements (TI)
• Experience with construction environment that utilizes systems and processes
• Experience (and confidence) leading projects as a Site Superintendent

Compensation

• Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 (Can be flexible for the right person)
• 5% RRSP match
