Job Description

Manga Hotel Group is a Canadian company involved in the acquisition, development and management of high-quality residences and hotels affiliated with prestigious brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and Intercontinental Hotels Group. Currently, Manga Hotels owns and operates 33 hotels with over 6000 rooms across Canada and in the United States, 18 food and beverage outlets and 5 residential properties with a number of new properties and developments in the pipeline.

As Manga Hotels continues to expand, we are actively seeking talented individuals to join our growing team. We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, high energy Task Force Manager who is available to travel to assigned hotels as needed and assist with the day-to-day operations and activities of an assigned hotel, including taking on the full duties of a hotel general manager where required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identifying gaps in operational performance, productivity, and efficiency, and implementing corrective measures for assigned hotels;
  • For assigned hotels, supporting hotel operations to maximize profits and achieving the highest level of guest satisfaction;
  • Understanding and interpreting P&L statements and developing impactful strategies for property success of assigned hotels;
  • Overseeing service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance, and financial performance metrics of assigned hotels;
  • Directing the hotel leadership team in the development and implementation of hotel-wide strategies for assigned hotels;
  • Guiding a synergistic leadership team and a business environment that consistently delivers positive results and striving for continuous improvement of assigned hotels;
  • Analyzing service issues, identifying trends, and facilitating creative solutions to overcome obstacles and improve guest satisfaction at assigned hotels;
  • Reviewing sales goals and strategies to ensure alignment with brand objectives and proper pricing and market positioning of assigned hotels; and
  • Supporting the sales strategy and encouraging the leadership team to develop effective revenue management strategies and financial goals at assigned hotels.

We are looking for a Task Force Manager with at least 5 years of experience at a property with over 120 rooms.
