We are currently hiring a Loss Prevention Specialist to join our client's team in Mississauga, ON. Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday Pay: $22.00/hour Responsibilities: - Conduct internal and external facility inspections and lead audits - Perform daily dock checks, identifying freight movement issues/damages and document findings - Conduct security checks on freight - Monitor applications for suspicious activity - Examine gate pass documents and visitor logs for accuracy - Collect driver trip records and report discrepancies - Scan/file/organize documents and maintain records - Ensure availability of trip envelopes, seals, and seal cards in supply room - Other duties as required Qualifications: - Post secondary education - Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Experience with report writing - Knowledge of TruckMate and other operating systems is an asset - Forklift license and experience operating the forklift is an asset - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - High attention to detail - Strong problem-solving skills - Able to work effectively independently or as part of a team Apply now!
