Position: Gardening Crew Member (Orangeville Area)

A Gardener is someone who finds joy in the garden, and consistently maintains high standards in their work. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about nurturing outdoor spaces and contributing to well-crafted landscapes and stunning gardens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Crew Leader with daily site setup and on-site activities
• Support garden bed and planter construction and maintenance
• Perform spring/fall cleanups, fertilizing, pruning, and winterization tasks
• Operate horticultural tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Water, prune, weed, fertilize, and cultivate plant material
• Plant seeds, bulbs, annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees
• Inspect and treat plants, trees, and shrubs for health and vitality
• Spread topsoil, mulch, and lay sod
• Safely handle and transport nursery stock
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Communicate with clients in a polite and professional manner
• Follow company policies and comply with all safety regulations
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

What Were Looking For:

• Passion for landscape maintenance and plant care
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Experience with landscape tools (or a willingness to learn)
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
• Friendly, respectful demeanor with a customer-first attitude
