Our client, a leading tree care provider in Guelph, Cambridge and Kitchener, is urgently seeking two skilled Arborists to join their team. Salary:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm (as late as 3:30pm) (40 hours a week)
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of three climbers, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  
• Perform tree pruning, removals, and health assessments using buckets trucks and grapple saws (also cranes with training).
  
• Operate and maintain arborist equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
  
• Provide expert advice to clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
  
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times.
  
• Support tree planting, transplanting, and other arboriculture tasks as needed.
  
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment to deliver high-quality results.
  

Requirements

• Skilled Arborist with at least 2 years of experience climbing and running a bucket truck as a Crew Leader.
  
• Valid DZ license (required) and clean driving record.
  
• Experience operating bucket trucks and grapple saws (hoisting/engineering ticket an asset).
  
• Strong leadership skills to manage a crew of three climbers.
  
• Knowledge of tree species, diseases, and care techniques specific to Southern Ontario is an asset.
  
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  
• Willingness to learn with training provided for the right candidates.
