Estimator – Commercial Roofing - $70K-$80K yr

On behalf of our Durham Region client, we're recruiting an Estimator with experience in the commercial roofing industry.

Work hours:

8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Working at Heights Training. Confidence with climbing ladders to access roof.
• Attend on-site pre-bid / proposal meetings / site visits.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost summary sheets.
• Price and track project change order approvals with Project Coordinator.
• Conduct and direct handover meetings (work with Project Coordinator to generate Foreperson's project files and work orders.
• Warranty applications.
• Develop and carry out bid follow-up strategies.
• Report writing, specification analysis and summary, contract writing and presentation.
• Other special project management and estimating tasks as required by Supervisor.

Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years experience in the commercial roofing industry.

• Valid G License (abstract required).
• Experience and knowledge with all popular roof systems; Single-Ply, Mod-Bit, BUR.

Remuneration:

$70,000 – 80,000 yr
