Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Branch Manager to lead operations at a dynamic branch in Stoney Creek. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in mechanical, plumbing, or industrial supplies, and a passion for leadership and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of branch operations including inside sales, customer service, warehouse management, and inventory control.

• Oversee order processing and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment and delivery coordination.

• Resolve customer issues and provide expert-level product support to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Manage inventory levels and coordinate purchasing for non-stock items.

• Prepare sales quotes and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Collaborate with outside sales teams, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues and optimize workflows.

• Recruit, train, and manage branch staff, including conducting performance evaluations.

• Enforce Health & Safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.

• Build and strengthen relationships with key customers and suppliers to support business growth.

• Monitor competitive activity and market trends to inform business development strategies.

• Generate and analyze reports on sales, inventory, and overall branch performance.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Business, Sales, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in branch or sales management.

• In-depth knowledge of the mechanical, plumbing, or industrial supply sectors.

• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret technical documentation are considered an assets.
