Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Branch Manager to lead operations at a dynamic branch in Stoney Creek. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in mechanical, plumbing, or industrial supplies, and a passion for leadership and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of branch operations including inside sales, customer service, warehouse management, and inventory control.
Oversee order processing and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment and delivery coordination.
Resolve customer issues and provide expert-level product support to enhance customer satisfaction.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate purchasing for non-stock items.
Prepare sales quotes and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with outside sales teams, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
Recruit, train, and manage branch staff, including conducting performance evaluations.
Enforce Health & Safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Build and strengthen relationships with key customers and suppliers to support business growth.
Monitor competitive activity and market trends to inform business development strategies.
Generate and analyze reports on sales, inventory, and overall branch performance.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Business, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in branch or sales management.
In-depth knowledge of the mechanical, plumbing, or industrial supply sectors.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret technical documentation are considered an assets.
