Ambipars Industrial Services divisionoperates a large fleet of modern Vacuum, Combo, Hydrovac, Water, Gravel & Winch Units across Alberta, British Columbia & Saskatchewan. Our services are utilized on many different projects ranging from Downhole Drilling, Pipeline HDD, Daylighting and Civil Construction Projects.

We are currently seeking an Administrator to support our Safety team in our Nisku AB location.

This is a full-time position working a 10 days on and 4 days off schedule on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate orientations/training for new hires and recertifications
  • Conduct in-house training for new and returning hires
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe to follow a set template to create updated corporate documents and procedures
  • Manage databases and spread sheets for safety program
  • Assist with presentations and setup of safety meetings
  • Navigating folders and files from multiple areas and combining files
  • Working with SiteDocs, BambooHR, and various compliance sites
  • Create reports for the company and clients
  • Ensure documents are updated and circulated as required
  • Ensure site orientations and all requirements for pre-entry (including ticket verification, D&A tests etc.) are completed by employees prior to going to clients sites

Qualifications:

  • Possess Safety certification(s) or designation
  • Experience working with ComplyWorks and ISN - "International Suppliers Networld" is required
  • ISO 14001, 9000 and 9001 working knowledge
  • Previous education and/or experience in Safety is strongly preferred
  • Ability to create statistic reporting for the company and clients
  • Liaise with a variety of internal resources
  • Fast, accurate data entry and word processing skills
  • Proficient computer literacy skills
  • Strong knowledge of Office365 especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams/ SharePoint
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe to manipulate documents from PDF to Word, split documents, edit PDFs etc.
  • Outstanding organizational skills that allow you to maintain orderly electronic and paper filing systems
  • The ability to take initiative and be self-motivated
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to structure day according to deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment
