Job Duties
- Conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections and examinations at facilities and field sites for a wide range of industries.
- Interpreting NDT results and providing recommendations based on findings.
- Maintaining NDT equipment and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
- Performing industrial rope access work for maintenance, inspection, and construction activities.
- Conducting visual inspections and maintenance work on equipment, structures, and facilities.
- Assisting with the setup, inspection, and maintenance of rope access systems and equipment.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and technical services, to complete projects and resolve any issues.
- Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to industrial rope access.
- Conducting pressure equipment inspections at facilities and field sites for various industries.
- Recommending, planning, and reviewing NDT examination results.
- Certifying pressure equipment to provided standards and jurisdictional requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Ultrasonic Testing Level 1 (UT1 minimum)
- IRATA Level 1 Certification (minimum)
- API 510 Certification
Safety Requirements:
- Steel-toe boots are required; Apave Canada will provide additional PPE.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will have access to health benefits and may be required to join a union affiliated with the QCCC.
To be a successful candidate, you must have all the requirements tickets and skills.
Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory.
