Role Title: Finance Operations Lead – Automotive Sector
Location: Verona, ON | Full-Time
Compensation: $75,000 – $80,000 annually
Position Summary
An established automotive dealership is hiring a hands-on financial leader to manage its day-to-day accounting and reporting functions. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial data, overseeing compliance efforts, and delivering meaningful insights to support operational performance.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead all core finance processes including billing, vendor payments, payroll administration, and general ledger accuracy
Generate monthly financial statements and performance reports for corporate leadership and OEM stakeholders
Prepare annual budgets and monitor actuals against targets to support long-term planning
Conduct regular balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure up-to-date financial records
Manage all tax submissions and statutory compliance requirements
Work with department heads to identify operational efficiencies and drive financial discipline
Deliver analysis and insights to support forecasting and decision-making at the executive level
Organize and coordinate the annual audit process by liaising with external auditors
Strengthen internal financial controls to support asset protection and reporting integrity
Who You Are
At least 3 years of experience in an automotive finance or dealership accounting environment
Familiarity with dealer management platforms (experience with PBS software is a strong plus)
High proficiency with Excel and comfort navigating financial systems
Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven setting with multiple priorities
Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership
Independent and proactive, but also a collaborative team player
Prior experience leading or supervising within a finance or accounting team is considered an asset
