Northern Financial Group (NFG) is helping Canadian businesses save on company health and dental plans. With demand rising, we're adding a Business Development Representative to expand our footprint across the province.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect & qualify Canadian companies (5‑300 employees) via cold outreach, networking, referrals, and NFG‑generated leads.
- Conduct discovery calls, presented savings analyses, and guided prospects from underwriting to signature.
- Own the full sales cycle: build the pipeline, forecasting, and deal documentation.
- Educate decision‑makers (owners, CFOs, HR leaders) on Northern's unique product through virtual demos and on‑site meetings.
- Represent NFG at HR/benefits events, chambers of commerce, and industry webinars.
- Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets (comp plan and quotas to be finalized).
- 2+ years of B2B prospecting, presenting and closing success with company health and dental plans.
- Demonstrated ability to outperform quota in a commission‑driven environment.
- LLQP licence or willingness to obtain within 90 days (company‑paid).
- Financial fluency: comfortable discussing premiums, claims ratios, and ROI.
- Self‑starter who thrives on autonomy, competition, and unlimited upside.
