Job Description

Our client a global leader in the grocery category across all retail banners had partnered with St-Amour to source a Pricing Strategy Analyst for a 1 year contract. The role will be required to be in the GTA office 2 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team through the TPx implementation project, validating and testing scenarios to ensure that the system meets business requirements.
  • Contribute to the annual business strategy and target planning for Canada in collaboration with business teams and leadership team members by actively participating and providing insights into the key customer growth opportunity areas.
  • Contribute to the trade strategy development and execution, in collaboration with business teams, by actively participating in and making recommendations as the lead from the Trade Marketing and Sales team.
  • Contribute to the development, proposal, implementation of all Canada retail, specialty, foodservice Trade budgets in cooperation with the Customer/Trade Marketing Director, and the Directors of Sales, Marketing, and Finance and Accounting, and ongoing oversight of the budgets with the leads in retail, specialty and channels respectively.
  • Contribute to the joint business planning process in collaboration with retail customers, shopper marketing, trade marketing, supply chain and marketing in order to streamline logistics, create efficiencies and identify innovative product requests in response to customer needs.
  • Research best practices, identify system requirements, lead vendor selection and implementation process as it relates to the online trade planning system with support of IT allowing the business to increase productivity and manage costs more effectively.
  • Develop and implement an internal post promotional analysis process to determine customer program specific return on investment adding additional value to the business relationships.
  • Participate in marketing analyses, planning and the recommendation of trade strategies.

Must bring:

  • 2+ years of Canadian grocery/beverage manufacturing experience in pricing, revenue growth management and business analytics.
  • Skilled in developing pricing strategies, analyzing complex datasets.
  • As well - versed with SAP, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, and SQL.
