Job Summary
The Butcher Shoppe's Butchers will work in a growing food industry and acquire knowledge of custom meat preparation. Qualifying candidates will work as a meat Butcher and will deliver high quality, custom-cut meats to meet the customer's needs and order requirements.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Preparing various meat products and processed meats
- Preparing products and specialty items for the retail counter & food service
- Taking orders and the fulfilling of customer orders
- Inventory & quality controls
- Preparation, weighing, packaging, labelling, & pricing in the processing areas
- Good overall personal hygiene and cleanliness practices
- Strict following of required safety protocols related to Ontario Health & Safety standards including sanitation and food safety practices
- Physical strength ability to lift meat and meat products (30-50 lbs lbs min.)
- Excellent organization skills
- Motivation for continuous improvement and learning
- Mechanical, technical and general problem-solving skills
Shifts: Monday to Saturday (In Person)
Shift start times: 4 a.m to 5 p.m.
