Position Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to support our growing portfolio of office and healthcare projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has strong technical skills with a good design sense. You will be involved in all aspects of the design process—from concept development and space planning to detailed drawing production and construction coordination.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop floor plans, presentation materials, and design concepts for office and medical spaces

· Prepare detailed drawing sets including layout, demolition, RCP, millwork, finishes, and furniture plans

· Assist in selecting and specifying finishes, fixtures, furniture, and equipment

· Coordinate with internal project managers, clients, consultants, and contractors

· Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes and accessibility standards (OBC/AODA)

· Support construction and permit documentation processes

· Participate in client presentations and site visits

· Help maintain consistency in design standards and internal systems

Requirements

· In-person attendance at the office

· Diploma or degree in Interior Design

· NCIDQ Certification is a strong asset

· Minimum 3 years of experience in an interior design or architecture firm

· Commercial interior design experience is preferred

· Experience in medical design is an asset

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and graphic design tools

· Strong understanding of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and AODA regulations

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Attention to detail and accuracy in all work

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative team environment

Pay: $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
