hireVouch is a boutique tech recruitment agency based in the heart of Toronto! We primarily work with Canadian tech companies to hire the top 10% of tech talent in the country, and we've recently expanded to work with US-based and global companies that are hiring in Canada. We are looking for a hard-working individual to join our collaborative team as a Junior Technology Recruiter!
We are remote-first, with an office located in downtown Toronto for occasional team get-togethers as well as in-person training.
You don't need experience, we provide all of the training. What you do need is great communication skills, resilience, determination, attention to detail, and genuine curiosity!
Responsibilities:
- Make connections and build genuine relationships with the top technology talent in Canada
- Use active listening and influencing skills to understand the motivations of candidates and match them with the needs of our clients
- Build your personal brand and the reputation of our company with the top technology talent in Canada through social media marketing and engagement strategies
- Be the face of our company to candidates and brand ambassadors for our clients
- Research and understand the Canadian technology ecosystem and trends as well as identify opportunities to drive and deliver on our business strategy
- Create and execute, with your team lead, a custom development plan that improves your technical and soft skills, including participating in regular 1:1 meetings.
- Follow our company's standards and best practices in documentation and communication
- Work collaboratively with team members to identify opportunities to improve our company's processes, find best practices, and solve problems
- Actively participate in daily team standups, providing suggestions and ideas as appropriate
