Civil Engineer (P.Eng.) – Infrastructure & Land Development Projects

Location: Vancouver, BC

Salary: Up to $105K (experience dependent)

Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary project delivery firm with a strong presence across Canada, is currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineer (P.Eng.) to join their growing team in Vancouver. Known for their work in municipal infrastructure, transmission and distribution, and land development, this firm provides engineering, construction management, and project advisory services on a wide range of high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Engineer of Record on civil infrastructure projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead or support the development of detailed designs, reports, construction documents, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct field reviews and site assessments as part of design and construction phases.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering staff (EITs).
  • Collaborate with clients to define project requirements and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support proposal development and contribute to project pursuits.
  • Participate in and support multi-disciplinary project teams with civil engineering expertise.
  • Review and sign off on final IFC (Issued for Construction) civil design packages.
  • Utilize design software such as Civil3D, HEC-RAS, HY-8, and PCSWMM for analysis and modelling.

What We're Looking For:

  • Licensed P.Eng. in BC (EGBC) and/or Alberta (APEGA), with a minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience.
  • Proven experience in civil infrastructure or transportation projects.
  • Exposure to stormwater management and hydraulic modelling considered an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and client presentations.
  • Team-oriented with strong organizational and project coordination capabilities.
