Rheaume Engineering Inc. (Rheaume) is seeking a full-time Engineering Manager to join our team. This position would be based in either our Grande Prairie or Calgary office.

Rheaume is an Alberta-based EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction management) firm, founded in 2005, with 40 staff members.
For engineering projects in industry sectors such as energy, mining, pulp & paper, and agriculture, Rheaume provides services in:
•Project management and project controls
•Design work within the following disciplines:
- Process
- Mechanical
- Civil
- Structural
- Electrical
- Instrumentation
- Controls
•Procurement
•Regulatory support
•Construction management/support
Rheaume's specialty is oil & gas facility and pipeline design.

Role Description
•Be part of the hiring process: identifying resource gaps, reviewing resumes, and interviewing candidates
•Manage engineering tasks and resources, including assigning work
•Review of engineering estimates for client proposals
•Act as the primary technical resource within the company: you don't have to have all the answers, but you must be able to help solve problems
•Be a Responsible Member of the company:
- Ensure the proper engineering reviews and approvals are in place
- Validate engineering deliverables
•Mentor engineering staff
The above tasks are expected to take approximately half of your time. The other half of your time will be dedicated to project or technical work based on your design discipline.
It is expected that you'll visit our other office location at least once per quarter to continually better your relationship with staff.

Candidate Requirements
•Must be currently residing in Alberta, Canada.
•Must have 8+ years of conventional oil and gas project experience at an EPC based in Western Canada
•Must have P. Eng. with APEGA
Compensation
•Either employee or contractor status may be considered for this role
