Program Manager (Director Level) – Wealth Management (Technology Background)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Program Manager at the Director level to lead a critical modernization program for portfolio management systems within our Wealth Management business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-wide technology transformations, particularly within financial services or wealth management.

Required Qualifications:

15–20+ years of experience in program/project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity

Strong background in Wealth Management, especially in portfolio management platforms, client reporting, and investment tools

Proven experience in modernization initiatives, such as legacy system replacement, cloud adoption, and data transformation

Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills at the executive level

Familiarity with Agile/SAFe, hybrid, and traditional project delivery methodologies

Strong understanding of technology concepts (e.g., Java, Python, APIs, data platforms, cloud infrastructure)

PMP, PgMP, or similar certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working with firms like Morgan Stanley, BOA, Citi, Northern Trust, or similar

Understanding of compliance, regulatory, and risk requirements in the wealth management domain

Experience managing globally distributed teams
