Job Description

Hello Speech Developmental Services provides both virtual and in-home speech-language therapy, occupational therapy and behavioural support across the Greater Toronto Area. Using an interdisciplinary approach we work together to support the needs of children and their families as a whole. Our specialties include speech and language, occupational therapy, autism, parent education, sensory processing, augmentative and alternative communication systems, literacy, school readiness and behavioural strategies and support.

We're currently looking for an enthusiastic and professional Speech-Language Pathologist to join our diverse and dedicated team of clinicians.

Part-time position available. We are also offering a flexible position type:

  • Assessment-only (in-person)
  • Direct treatment (in-person)
  • Supervision of CDA/SLTA (in-person and virtual)
  • Or a combination of all listed above.

Our SLPs are responsible for:

  • Conducting virtual and in-home assessments;
  • Delivering speech and language therapy in one-to-one and/or small group formats;
  • Working collaboratively with allied healthcare professionals;
  • Providing supervision and program oversight to CDAs and SLTAs;
  • Documenting sessions and tracking progress;
  • Communicating and collaborating with team members, parents, and other professionals;

Our ideal SLP candidate is:

  • A graduate from an accredited Masters of Speech-Language Pathology Program;
  • In good standing with CASLPO;
  • Uses best practice guidelines and evidence-based information;
  • Good at working collaboratively with other team members and across disciplines;
  • A strong verbal and written communication;
  • Effective time management;
  • An up to date Criminal Reference Check.
