Our client in Halton Region, ON is actively looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Halton Region, ON

Length of Assignment: Permanent

Salary: $120,000/yr

Position Description

• Overall responsibility for the development and implementation of complex engagements with minimal direction required
• Develop a strong understanding of clients business to better identify opportunities and areas of risk
• Leadership and supervision of junior and senior staff
• Development of audit/review plans and budgets

Requirements

• Qualified CPA, CA, with a minimum of two years experience in public accounting
• Experience supervising, and supporting junior and senior level staff through regular performance coaching and mentorship
• Proven experience delivering high-quality client engagements, while balancing productivity requirements
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Word and Excel), CaseWare, CaseView and TaxPrep
