Building Maintenance Technician
We are currently seeking a Building Maintenance Technician worker for Eagle Ranch Resort in Invermere, British Columbia. This individual will join our Maintenance department. Job responsibilities:
- Respond to building and guest room deficiencies.
- Identify and correct system breakdowns to achieve guest satisfaction.
- Perform minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and security systems.
- Refurbish/repair/paint furniture and fixtures.
- Maintaining clear communication with all parties when coordinating trades to perform major repairs.
- Assisting management, co-workers, and guests with building deficiencies and employee safety concerns.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract.
- Working in all weather conditions, repetitive tasks, lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
- Previous Health and Safety training and WHMIS preferred. Must follow all Health and Safety procedures.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada full-time.
- Lift up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly.
- Capable of operating machinery and equipment.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Salary: Wages based on experience.
This is a permanent full-time position from Wednesday-Sunday.
