Digital Health, a division of Shared Health, is driving healthcare transformation across Manitoba by implementing and optimizing digital systems that enhance the delivery of care. The Digital Shared Services project is focused on improving information management and communication technology processes throughout the provincial healthcare system.

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support a critical digital health initiative. This is a remote position (Canada-based only) with a mandate to improve clinical workflows, standardize systems, and support transformational change through technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison between clinical stakeholders and technical teams to gather and document requirements.

  • Conduct business process mapping and gap analysis to inform system implementation.

  • Support the configuration and setup of Allscripts/Altera healthcare information systems.

  • Implement standardized clinical and operational processes at a provincial level.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver digital health solutions that support long-term and homecare patient registration.

  • Support change management initiatives aligned with Prosci methodology.

  • Provide expertise on implementing mobile healthcare applications, such as PROCURA in homecare environments.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

Mandatory Certifications (Proof Required):

  • Valid Certificate in Allscripts/Altera (Eclipsys) ADT or Clinical Documentation application configuration

  • Prosci Change Management Certification

  • PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner Certification

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years in a business analysis or digital systems analyst role, supporting implementation and process mapping in large-scale projects

  • At least 7 years of experience working on healthcare information system projects, with direct engagement with clinical stakeholders

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience implementing standardized clinical and operational processes on a provincial or enterprise scale

  • At least 2 years of experience in Allscripts/Altera suite configuration and setup

  • Minimum 3 years of experience implementing clinical information systems for long-term or homecare registration

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience implementing PROCURA mobile software in a homecare setting
