ABOUT THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Black & McDonald's Toom Room team is growing! If you are committed and collaborative professional looking to contribute to a hard-working, innovative team, this opportunity is for you.

The Toom Room Associate is located in Scarborough, ON and typically reports directly to the Tool Room Supervisor. Their primary focus is Tool Room coordination. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Complete Tool Orders as required
• Complete Tool Returns thoroughly and in a timely manner. (Refer to Tool Return Procedures)
• Communicate all damaged or missing items to the Tool Room Manager and Tool Room Administrator as soon as possible
• Check tools for Calibration expiration dates
• Receive deliveries from suppliers (Refer to Delivery Receiving Procedures)
• Keep material stored in the Warehouse organized
• Operate forklift as needed
• Ensure forklift inspection is completed daily
• Put stock away in its proper location and update quantities as required
• Complete inventory audits when needed
• Organize and maintain an efficient, orderly and clean work environment
• Assign asset codes to new tools and enter into the Hilti ON!Track system
• Test all tools that are returned for proper functionality before putting them back on the shelf. (See Tool Testing and Repair procedures)
• Keep Tool Room clean and organized
• Assist with all other Tool Room duties as required

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 Diploma

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working in a Tool Room / Tool Crib environment, in a construction or industrial environment is considered an asset.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Customer service based attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organization and time management
• Computer savvy
• Valid Ontario G Driver's License
