What you'll bring

Provincial Property Management manages various healthcare and commercial properties across Prince Edward Island. We are an exciting and ever-expanding organization; we are looking for a Painter/general laborer to join our team.

• Proven experience as a painter
• Excellent knowledge of painting materials, including how to select, mix and apply them
• Familiarity with painting tools and materials
• Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding
• Excellent attention to detail

How You'll Spend Your Time

• Applying paint or other materials such as stains lacquer or varnish using brushes, rollers or spray equipment
• Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, removing old paint
• Fill cracks and holds with appropriate material
• Mix paint and other materials to prepare the proper color or texture
• General maintenance and repairs as assigned by supervisor.
• Calculate costs and negotiate prices
