The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a customer focused Branch Administrator to join our team in Prince George, BC. As the Branch Administrator, you will be responsible for greeting and directing customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Branch Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Perform branch reception duties, including answering phone calls, collecting pertinent information, and directing walk-in visitors at the branch
  • Coordinate shipments and interoffice mail
  • Order and maintain office supplies and branch marketing items
  • Track invoices and follow up with vendors as needed
  • Assist Service Dispatchers with the coordination of jobs for Technicians
  • Enter safety data into the safety filing system and maintain up to date safety records
  • Complete expense reports and provide clerical support for all departments including sales, rentals, parts, and service
  • Receive incoming parts orders into the system and shelve parts in the warehouse

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Previous reception and/or administrative experience
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, planning skills, and multitasking ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset, including the ability to work with internal and external customers at all levels
  • Confident self-starter and team player

The base pay range for this role is: $40,000 to $44,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Prince George, BC.
