This strategic leadership opportunity is ideal for a senior People & Culture executive with the vision, courage, and entrepreneurial mindset to help build a next-generation, multi-city platform from the ground up.
The Opportunity:
Our confidential client is launching a national accounting and advisory platform with plans to go public via a Reverse Takeover (RTO). As part of the founding executive team, the incoming Chief People Officer will design, implement, and scale the people infrastructure required for sustainable, multi-jurisdictional growth.
Key Mandates:
- Develop and lead a national People & Culture function
- Drive organization-wide people strategy, including recruiting, onboarding, and compliance
- Partner with the executive team on culture, compensation, and performance frameworks
- Lead HR readiness and organizational design in preparation for public market entry
Compensation & Participation:
- No base salary during the pre-RTO phase
- Equity participation in the public entity post-transaction (target: 0.5% 1.5%)
- Optional transaction bonus upon successful closing
- Personal investment of $25,000 - $50,000 CAD required to align with executive team and investor group
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a senior HR leader or Chief People Officer in a scaling environment
- Track record of designing and executing people strategies in fast-paced, high-accountability settings
- Strong understanding of public company HR readiness and regulatory compliance
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to hold meaningful equity in a market-disrupting platform
