What's the Role:
Bradken is seeking a commercially astute and technically experienced Product Manager – Mineral Processing to lead our product strategy across our global mill processing business. This position plays a critical role in identifying market opportunities, influencing cross-functional teams, and ensuring we continue to deliver competitive, high-value solutions to our customers.
In this role, you will:
  • Engage regularly with sales teams and regional engineers to assess market conditions, understand customer challenges, and translate these insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for the Mineral Processing product portfolio, aligning it with Bradken's growth objectives and customer needs.
  • Analyse and assess existing products to determine their position on the maturity curve and collaborate with the Product Development Manager to identify and address any gaps in the portfolio.
  • Lead the identification of new market opportunities and support the development of business cases to guide investment and innovation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, supply chain, sales, and operations to support effective product lifecycle management.
  • Support customer engagement efforts, including leading technical training sessions and product demonstrations alongside subject matter experts.
  • Assist in addressing production capacity constraints and contribute to sourcing strategies by working closely with operations and supply chain teams.
  • Influence decisions and drive outcomes without direct authority by building strong relationships and fostering alignment across departments.

Key Selection Criteria:
  • A strong technical understanding of the mill processing market is essential.
  • Proven experience (10+ years preferred) in product management or technical/sales roles within the mineral processing or mining sector.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field is mandatory; postgraduate qualifications in business or management will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage product lifecycles, identify market trends, and drive innovation through structured product strategies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working within a matrixed environment and navigating complex decision-making processes.
