Job Title: Health and Safety Administrator
Department: Health and Safety
Working Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Job Purpose
To provide administrative support to the Health & Safety team as required. Additional specific tasks may be required as directed by the Health & Safety team.
Responsibilities
Build project Health & Safety binders
Conduct safety orientations
Follow-up on submitted safety forms
Follow safety trends
Coordinate safety training
Assist with COR Certification
Record equipment maintenance and equipment safety certifications
Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
General administration services to support the team including: filing, data entry, typing and assisting in the management of communications and paperwork
Administration and management of the Health & Safety management of: bulletin board, inbox, accident forms, referrals and general queries that are sent, redirecting queries to members of the Health & Safety team as required
Maintaining all Health & Safety training records records administration, assisting with course registration, issuing certificates as required
Promote a positive culture of Health & Safety in the workplace
All other duties assigned
Qualifications
Health & Safety related qualifications/experience
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams)
Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to follow instructions and provide support as required to members of the Health & Safety team
Organized and able to meet tight deadlines
Excellent time management skills
College or University- Valid Drivers License
