We are seeking an enthusiastic Flooring Salesperson to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and actively engage with customer to better understand their needs
• Explain products and services to customers ensuring each customer has a positive experience
• Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
• Enter and process customer orders
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints
• Maintain and organize a visually appealing sales floor ensuring cleanliness
• Work closely with team members to meet store goals and enhance store performance
• Develop strong trusting relationships with customers and contractors to encourage repeat business and referrals

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, particularly in flooring or design a plus
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new product knowledge and in store systems
• Strong communication skills both written and oral with the ability to engage effectively with customers
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A passion for helping customers and providing outstanding service in every interaction
• Knowledge of QuickBooks on line is a plus but not mandatory.
