As a Media Associate you will have hands-on experience of the 360 media planning practice; it is a great training ground for all that is media. As a Media Associate, one of the primary responsibilities in this role is to learn planning process and provide support to your assigned strategy group in the media planning process across all media.

We operate in a fast-paced, agile environment - which means wearing many hats, being able to change direction quickly, and showing an eagerness to learn new technologies as the need arises. The role requires people who can prioritize, multitask, and deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe, shadow and assist the team with costing exercises
  • Develop expertise in media management platforms
  • Checking and maintenance of estimates, review draft billing
  • Review computer input against estimates, contracts and plan
  • Execute research runs
  • Set up and update blocking charts for media plans
  • Provide details for booking print ads and out of home ads
  • Broadcast Goal upload
  • Liaise with production and account groups on material requirements
  • Liaise with Suppliers to source information
  • Source information for print and outdoor pre and post buy reports
  • Monthly maintenance of Budget Control Reports and resolution of billing discrepancies
  • Input media campaigns
  • Develop POV's
  • Attend training and learning opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of social media-specific experience at a brand or agency
  • Education in internet marketing, journalism, or a related field
  • Organized, digitally oriented, and platform agnostic, with a strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok.
  • Strong working knowledge in Facebook Ads and Google Ads
  • Experience with advocacy and B2B marketing and communications.
  • Proven expertise across multiple paid media channels (search, social, programmatic, etc.)

Salary Range for this role $50,000- $55,000 CAD.
