Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Superintendent Interiors to join our clients team in Etobicoke. This individual will oversee all on-site aspects of interior construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in commercial interior construction and strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day site operations for interior fit-out projects (commercial/retail/institutional).
  • Coordinate all site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and trades.
  • Ensure adherence to construction schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct daily site meetings and manage on-site documentation (e.g., logs, reports, inspections).
  • Liaise with the Project Manager to report progress, address challenges, and manage changes.
  • Perform quality control inspections and ensure all work meets design and code requirements.
  • Enforce site safety and cleanliness standards in accordance with OHSA and company policies.
  • Act as the main point of contact on-site, representing Primary Construction professionally with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent, specifically in interior construction.
  • Proven success leading commercial or institutional interior fit-out projects.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with construction management software is an asset.
  • Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation.
