Branch Manager - Wonder Auto Centres

This position is at Wonder Auto & Tire Fredericton (Prospect street) which is part of Shift Auto Group. Shift Auto Group consists of Fredericton Mitsubishi, Volvo Cars New Brunswick, Miramichi Kia, 5 ReCar locations, St Croix Auto , Velocity Autobody & 11 Wonder Auto Centres.

The Branch Manager will oversee the daily operations of our Prospect street location, ensuring that our high standards of customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability are maintained. This role requires a strong leader with a background in the automotive industry, excellent management skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operational Management

· Supervise all daily activities of the branch to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

· Manage inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure they are well-maintained and available.

· Oversee the branch budget, including monitoring expenses, revenues, and profitability.

· Team Leadership

· Recruit, train, and manage staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their roles.

· Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.

· Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to staff members.

· Customer Service

· Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining high service standards and addressing customer inquiries and complaints promptly.

· Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

· Oversee appointment scheduling to maximize service efficiency and minimize wait times for customers.

· Sales and Marketing

· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve branch targets and drive revenue growth.

· Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

· Promote the branch through local marketing initiatives and community engagement.

· Compliance and Safety

· Ensure the branch complies with industry regulations and company policies.

· Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry.

· Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance services.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

· Ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets effectively.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

· High level of integrity and a customer-first attitude.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or related field (preferred).

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive service industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
