About the Role:
Were looking for a motivated and hands-on Team Lead to join our Assembly team on the weekend shift in Colborne. If youre a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and takes pride in driving quality, safety, and team successyoull fit right in.
As Team Lead, youll be the go-to person on the floorcoordinating workflow, communicating production targets, supporting operators, and ensuring the shift runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll play a key role in fostering a productive and positive work environment while helping the team meet and exceed daily goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support your team in meeting daily production targets
- Conduct daily huddles and communicate shift expectations clearly
- Monitor staffing and coverage with Value Stream Supervisors
- Track and update dashboards, cell boards, and operator efficiency
- Troubleshoot issues, support material flow, and flag bottlenecks early
- Encourage cross-training and skill development
- Promote safety-first habits and adhere to company policies
- Drive continuous improvement using KPI metrics and team input
- Perform other duties as needed to support the weekend shift
Qualifications:
- Previous experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment (Min of 3 years)
- Knowledge of plant operations, lean manufacturing systems & quality metrics
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Comfortable making decisions and keeping things moving
- A team-first attitude with a drive to get the job done right

- Line output: On-time, in-full (OTIF)
- First Time Quality (FTQ): Build it right, the first time
- Safety: Observations, near-miss reports, compliance
- Efficiency & Labor Use: Meeting production standards and improvements over time
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced, high-pressure, efficiency-driven environment.
- Weekend 12-hour shifts (FridaySunday or SaturdayMonday, depending on business needs)
- Indoor manufacturing environment with overhead cranes, forklifts, and equipment
- Fast-paced and physically active (lifting up to 50 lbs as needed, with support)
- Temperatures may vary depending on season
