Job Title: Maintenance Planner
Location: Vaughan, ON
Salary Range: $80,000–$100,000 based on experience and education + bonus potential

We're hiring a Maintenance Planner to support two high-speed food and beverage production facilities in Vaughan, ON. In this role, you'll be the point person for organizing, tracking, and optimizing all preventative maintenance and repair activities. What You'll Be Doing
- Manage and maintain the CMMS to ensure accurate equipment history, timely reports, and strong planning visibility
- Build and schedule preventative maintenance tasks based on equipment manuals and historical performance
- Generate work orders with clearly defined scope, timelines, required labor, and tools
- Maintain the inventory of tools and parts, ensuring availability and minimal downtime
- Coordinate with the Tool Crib team and provide vacation coverage when needed
- Track KPIs tied to equipment performance, failures, and service trends—recommend process improvements
- Schedule and coordinate service contractors, track work completion, and maintain service documentation
- Support Maintenance Supervisors in staff scheduling and daily task planning
- Keep PM standards current and ensure alignment with production and operational schedules
- Participate in plant-wide projects and initiatives assigned by the Maintenance Manager
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline is required
- 5+ years of experience in a Maintenance Planning role within a food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing setting
- Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP/CMMS platforms (Oracle-based systems preferred)
- Understanding of mechanical systems, production machinery, and plant maintenance practices
- Excellent organization skills and a sharp eye for process efficiency
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Mechanical Technician is a strong asset
- Competitive base salary: $80,000–$100,000 based on experience and education
