Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Millwright to join our client's team at Guelph Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and industrial maintenance, with the ability to work on various equipment and systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within our facility. The Millwright will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

Shift available: Continental day shift. 6 am to 6 pm EST
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday.
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday

Required Qualifications:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and comfortable to work in the protein/cattle domain
- Role requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old
- Ontario or Inter-Provincial 433A Millwright Certificate (Full License)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending/stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders and open/close valves
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (Verbal/Written)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts with advanced notice if required
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Able to perform maintenance trades including electrical, machinist, welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearing, maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping system
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with MRO (Maintenance Repair Ops) and/or MRP (Material Requirement Planning)
- Basic food safety knowledge
- Experience in food manufacturing or packaging
- Knowledge of CFIA requirements for food manufacturing
- At least 2 years of experience in production related work
- Ability to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment with or without reasonable accommodation

Pay: $32.00-$42.10 per hour
Expected hours: 84 per week
