Job Opportunity
Formula Honda is a proud member of Drive Auto Group and is currently seeking a Pre-owned Internal Licensed Technician to join our growing team. Are you a skilled and experienced Licensed Automotive Technician, then this role is for you. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing pre-sale and safety inspections on pre-owned inventory, along with necessary reconditioning repairs within 3-5 days of the vehicle's arrival at the dealership.
Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive pre-sale and safety inspections on pre-owned vehicles.
• Complete necessary reconditioning repairs within 3-5 days of vehicle arrival.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and repairs.
• Ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Experience/ Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Licensed Technician.
• Must have 310S certification and Class A Automotive Mechanic's license.
• Other certifications or licenses mandated by provincial law (ex: 310s, Ozone Depletion)
• OSSD or equivalent preferred
• Strong automotive background.
• Must have a valid Ontario driver's license with a clean abstract.
Skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and able to bend, squat, crouch, reach as job requires.
• Knowledge and use of power, machine, and hand tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate automotive issues clearly.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
