Opportunity: Business Development Representative

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative with a minimum of five years of B2B sales experience, ideally within commercial industries such as property management or facilities management. This role focuses on developing client relationships, exceeding sales targets, and actively participating in networking events to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage leads within target markets to support business objectives.
  • Schedule and complete sales appointments using outbound techniques (calls, emails, in-person meetings, networking events, tradeshows, and conferences).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Close new business and expand current accounts through independent efforts and collaboration with internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal systems.
  • Participate in training, professional development, and company-wide meetings.

Strategic Initiatives

  1. Develop and implement a plan to penetrate key commercial accounts and property management companies.
  2. Execute a comprehensive marketing and networking strategy to increase brand awareness.
  3. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of commercial opportunities through relationship development and industry involvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong ability to work independently while maintaining a team-player attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Professional demeanor with integrity and thoughtfulness.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in restoration, construction, or insurance industries.
  • Established network within the local market.
  • Proven success in commercial account development.
  • Familiarity with property management companies and commercial real estate.
