We're excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as a Project Engineer

This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by contributing to critical projects within the nuclear sector, ensuring excellence in design, implementation, and safety standards.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Managing the planning, execution, and completion of nuclear engineering projects.
• Ensuring projects meet all technical, regulatory, and safety requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and operations.
• Reviewing and optimizing project designs using CAD tools and engineering software.
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Preparing detailed project reports, budgets, and schedules.
• Liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with nuclear standards.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in project engineering, with a focus on nuclear projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of nuclear safety standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management tools and CAD software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Requirements:

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or eligibility.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar design tools.
• Knowledge of nuclear materials and radiation safety protocols.
• Previous experience working in a regulated environment.
• Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent).

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 + overtime & 4 weeks vacation
