We're currently recruiting for an experienced Executive Assistant to support a dynamic group of leaders in a public sector setting. This full-time, temporary role runs through the end of 2025 and offers an opportunity to work alongside senior leadership in a fast-paced, highly visible environment. The ideal candidate is polished, organized, and understands how to navigate government or municipal processes.
This position is a contract role starting ASAP until the end of the year. Work location is in Morinville and will be an on site position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive-level administrative support to a senior leader and their direct reports
- Draft and edit correspondence, briefing notes, and meeting materials
- Coordinate schedules, travel arrangements, and expenses
- Manage sensitive files, records, and committee logistics
- Liaise with internal departments, external stakeholders, and the public
- Support reporting, communications, and divisional project coordination
- Step in as backup for other executive team members when needed
- 3+ years of senior administrative, legal assistant, or EA experience
- Comfortable working with elected officials, council processes, or confidential briefings
- Strong writing, proofreading, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with FOIP and document management best practices
- Professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- A degree or diploma in office administration or a related field
