Job Title: Senior Estimator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-driven Senior Estimator to lead the pre-construction efforts on multi-family and mixed-use projects. You will play a critical role in cost planning and value engineering while working closely with internal and external project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specs to develop accurate cost estimates and take-offs
• Collaborate with design teams, trades, and partners to gather project data
• Analyze bids, negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain cost databases and prepare reports for senior leadership
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor budgets throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications & Skills

• 7+ years of construction estimating experience (multi-family/mixed-use)
• Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
• Deep knowledge of the Vancouver construction market
• Proficient with estimating software (e.g., OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam)
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000
